We regret to inform you that the 2009 Rising Sun Festival of Fine Arts and Crafts has been canceled. It is unfortunate that we had to come to this decision; however we find ourselves in the same situation as many other festivals, in that economic conditions resulted in budget cuts and low numbers of applicants.
For any artist who's already applied, we will be refunding your application fee. You will receive a email shortly, letting you know when to expect your check for the refunded application fee.
A special thank you goes to those of you who participated last year and were planning to return this year. Award winners from 2008, will still be exempted from fees in 2010.
Thank you for your interest in the Rising Sun Festival of Fine Arts and Crafts. Please apply again after January 1st for our 2010 Festival, so that we can look forward to hosting you and providing you with a successful and enjoyable 2010 event.
